Hellerick’s Farm

Hellerick’s Farm is another one of our favorite outdoor spots in Doylestown, PA, that offers year-round fun for the whole family.

Known for its colorful Adventure Farm, guests can experience an exciting world with attractions including an expansive corn maze, fun slides, and a petting zoo brimming with cute farm animals. In addition to its exciting features, the farm has a serene orchard where, depending on the season, you can choose your own fresh food. Kids Castle Central Park

We love Kids Castle Central Park! It’s a magical playground located inside Doylestown’s Central Park. A famous landmark in the area, this imposing wooden structure was created with the imaginations of youngsters in mind. There are many play areas in the castle, such as bridges, climbing walls, slides, and a winding dragon. Kids Castle is an inexhaustible source of fun for kids of all ages with its quirky design and limitless exploration opportunities. While watching their children as they overcome the trials of the castle, parents can unwind on the nearby grassy area.

There are also plenty of leisure options in Central Park itself, which is located beyond the castle. The broad fields are great for sports, picnics, and leisurely walks. The park has sporting facilities like basketball hoops and tennis courts, which make it the ideal place for fun times with the family or friendly competition. Kids Castle and Central Park provide families looking for outdoor fun a lovely escape with their unique playground and plenty of green space.

Doylestown Country Club

The Doylestown Country Club is another favorite of ours. We go there to enjoy the dining experience, the spectacular pool area, and, of course, the beautiful golf course.

Founded in 1916, the Doylestown Country Club is an outstanding private country club in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with a golf course designed by William S. Flynn, a swimming pool for beginners all the way up to seasoned divers, and a restaurant that consistently delivers a memorable experience.

Mercer Museum

Henry Mercer (1856–1930) created the six-story reinforced concrete castle that is now known as the Mercer Museum. Completed in 1916, the museum is a Smithsonian affiliate and one of Bucks County’s top cultural destinations today.

Comprising 44 rooms, 18 fireplaces, and over 200 windows, this concrete estate is full of items that depict daily life in America before the Industrial Revolution—everything from domestic and farming tools to carriages, fire engines, and even a gallows. With roots in the establishment of the Bucks County Historical Society in 1880, the research library housed within the museum serves as a hub for local history of Bucks County and the surrounding area.

Embedded in the museum’s attraction is The Tile Works. The Tile Works is a part of the Mercer Mile, an amazing stretch of historical sites that also includes Fonthill Castle and the Mercer Museum. A variety of tours are available on their site.
